Review: Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrating Hydrogel Mask

Similar to the other one I just reviewed this is a hydrating one which is so wonderful. It’s super drenched in essence but it doesn’t drip when it is applied onto your face though. It comes with X amount of essence that you can use later with a sheet of cotton. It leaves my dry skin super hydrated and not flaky. I love the scent of it as well. I think these are great hydrogel masks for the price you pay. I hope they come out with more sheet masks for different purposes for the skin. Please go pick them up if you can find them at your local store because they are definitely worth checking out. I highly recommend them.

Review: Neutrogena Deep Clean Purifying Hydrogel Mask

I’ve gone through quite a couple of these hydrogel mask and they are absolutely wonderful considering they are about $2.50-$2.59 at Walmart / Target. I do my double cleanse and than apply toner before applying this mask onto my face. And let me tell you, it’s overly drenched in essence since it is a hydrogel mask. It comes in two separate pieces one for the forehead, eyes, and nose and than the second one covering the mouth and chin area of your face. Be careful when opening it as you may spill the essence while trying to take the sheet mask out but that is okay, since I usually apply these masks over the sink so the essence doesn’t get anywhere. Or maybe, I’m just clumsy so it does get everywhere for me. It’s ultra hydrating and leaves my skin glowing. I feel like the hydrogel masks in general, hydrates the skin more because it’s not a sheet mask and the jelly texture is to die for haha. I also love the smell of the seaweed extract.

Review: I Dew Care Time Warp Firming Acai Berry Mask

The last of the sheet mask I have to review from the sheet mask set my best friend gifted me. I used this right after my skin regimen and this mask claims to be firming as well as reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It was heavily drenched in essence as all the others and the smell was just lovely because it’s acai berry. I left it on my face for about fifteen minutes or so and instantly I did feel like my face was a bit firmer you could just feel it but it could also be maybe I was thinking it? Not sure but it was wonderful. I didn’t really see it reducing my wrinkles or fine lines but it definitely was hydrating for my face though.

Review: I Dew Care Up All Night Brightening Citrus Lime Mask

I literally was up all night as cheesy as it sounds reading on my kindle paperwhite. I had a black one but gave it to my brother as he is still in school and uses it regularly for his textbooks as you all know buying ebooks through kindle is much cheaper than the real textbook in school. So, for Amazon Prime Day I bought myself a new kindle paperwhite to get back to my reading habit.

Anyways, I decided to use this sheet mask after my skincare routine. This sheet mask claims to brighten up dull skin. It’s drenched in essence like all the other I Dew Care sheet masks but this one smells amazing as it is citrus lime and I love anything with citrus in them. I left this sheet mask on for about twenty minutes or so before finally removing it. It definitely brighten up my dull and tired skin from staying up late last night reading. It’s hydrating like any of the other masks. I think it’s a great mask when you need to brighten up your skin.

Monthly Empties: June 2018

❤ – like, 🙄 – eh, & 👎🏻 – dislike

1. SKIN FOOD black sugar mask wash off, I’ve used SKIN FOOD rice wash off and I enjoyed using that one as a mild exfoliator but with this one it’s kind of harsher because it’s sugar but it works wonder for getting rid of blackhead and exfoliating on areas of the face. If you find it to be kind of harsh just add water and honestly, doesn’t feel like anything is on your face. It’s amazing and I love the scent of black sugar from SKIN FOOD. I definitely want to repurchase this product. ❤

2. The body shop camomile gentle eye make up remover, I only used this as what the product claimed to do and it does exactly that. It’s super gentle compared to other eye make up removers I’ve tried as it is very gentle and it doesn’t burn my eyes or anything which is a definitely win-win for me as there are eye make up removers out there that just tend to sting the eye but this one doesn’t. I already have a back up mini of this. ❤

3. First aid beauty skin rescue deep cleanser with red clay, was a good gel cleanser but I wasn’t a huge fan of the scent. It got the job done but I wasn’t really in love with it as I think there are probably other great cleansers out there at an affordable price. I don’t think I’ll be repurchasing this anytime soon. 🙄

4. SKIN FOOD black sugar perfect cleansing oil, my very first cleansing oil in a full size that I finished. As you can tell, I bought this once I discovered the black sugar mask and well it’s amazing and it gets the job done. It’s such a gentle cleansing oil that works super well as the first step in cleansing your face. It’s hydrating and doesn’t leave the skin greasy or deprived of moisture. I will definitely repurchase this once I finish up my other cleansers. ❤

Review: Sephora Collection Lotus Face Mask

To be honest, I used a ton of sheet masks but stopped reviewing them just because I didn’t have the time too. I was busy with my club and internships and trying to graduate on time that I stopped doing what I love. I graduated a month ago with a Bachelors of Science is currently busy applying to jobs and just going on vacations with my family. But since, it’s summer and I don’t really have a strict schedule to follow by, I have more time to review products.

I received this sheet mask from a a Sephora Favorites Haute Hydration set from my best friend when we exchanged birthday gifts as I’m older than her by two days and she’s younger than me by two days… so when it’s our birthday week we celebrate together. I couldn’t find this set on Sephora anymore but it is available on Amazon (click on the link) but I don’t think it’s worth the price it is on Amazon because I’m pretty sure it was much cheaper at Sephora.

This sheet mask reminds me of the Too Cool For School Egg Cream Mask Hydration I tested and reviewed awhile back because it came with like a mesh thing that held the sheet mask together and in place. I did my usual skincare routine with the last step being my serum before applying this sheet mask onto my face. The sheet mask was drenched in essence which I was able to use the leftover smothering it all over face, neck, and body. It was super hydrating as it stated and left my skin feeling cool. Overall, I enjoyed this sheet mask and is hoping to try out more from Sephora Collection as this was a great sheet mask.

1. Thayers witch hazel in rose petal I emptied a travel size one a couple months back and purchased the full size and emptied it once again. Definitely a repurchase for me and I want to try out other scents they have. Got my brother hooked up on taking care of his skin as well using their toners definitely a must have! ❤

2. Sol De Janeiro body wash is a must have if you don’t prefer strong scents on a body wash. It definitely smells like pistachio and caramel for sure if you like sweet and light scent this is the perfect body wash for you. It lasted me a couple of months too so well worth it for the price. Definitely a repurchase for sure. ❤

3. First aid beauty face cleanser is an okay cleanser in my book very lightweight and definitely super gentle for sensitive skin. I just felt like I’ve tried better cleansers out there. I know a lot of people love this product, but for me I just felt like it wasn’t doing much. Probably won’t repurchase. 🙄

4. Fresh soy face cleanser another cleanser I’ve been using. It’s okay to me since I’m super not fond of the scent. I feel like the scent is too strong for my liking when it comes to cleanser and scented things. Probably won’t repurchase. 👎🏻

5. First aid beauty ultra repair cream in the scent pink grapefruit ya’ll know how much I love first aid beauty as that is my favorite cream when it comes to treating my eczema and dry skin so I don’t need to say much about this product. Definitely a repurchase for sure. ❤

6. Eva nyc mane magic 10 in 1 primer spray smells so divine and does wonder for my hair on days where I want to straighten my hair. I love love the scent of the hair product and it leaving my hair smooth and shiny and not a greasy look like most sprays. Definitely a repurchase for me. ❤
